Meet the Innkeepers

Lisa and Dan Macheca bought this lovely jewel in June of 2004. They moved in with their 3 daughters and began renovation almost immediately. Sunday school classrooms morphed into makeshift bedrooms and the Pastor's office became the temporary "master bedroom."

The lower level (once the social hall) became wood shop, family room and kitchen. The children grew up, found places of their own and left Dan, Lisa, various pets and a few ghosts to carry on with the intention of converting this old church into a bed and breakfast.

As one could imagine, their 5 year plan turned into a twelve year plan. Once demolition began, it just made sense to gut the entire interior down to the brick. An architect was hired and together they created a unique yet cozy space. The Macheca's have done their best to preserve as much of the original structure as possible with repurposing much of the original wood into seating spaces.

Dan and Lisa both have hospitality backgrounds and bring forth their experience of entertaining and providing the very best experience. Their goal is to make your stay memorable!
